LIL TJAY Completes His Comeback with the Release of “222” Album
LIL TJAY, the Bronx-born rapper, has triumphantly unveiled his first project since enduring multiple gunshot wounds just over a year ago.
As per TMZ, they had the opportunity to speak with Tjay at his “222” album release party, held near Times Square last night, and he exudes immense confidence in his resurgence to the pinnacle of the rap game.
Tjay’s team converted the Brooklyn Chop House into an extravagant affair dedicated to the “222” project. Amidst taking photos, engaging with fans, and enjoying the festivities, Tjay was accompanied by Fivio Foreign, who was present to show support to his friend.
The album boasts impressive collaborations, featuring the likes of Jadakiss, NBA YoungBoy, The Kid LAROI, Summer Walker, and Coco Jones.
Tjay anticipates an overwhelmingly positive response from his fans. It has been over two years since his last project, and his future seemed uncertain at this time last year.
It was previously reported the incident—Tjay endured seven gunshot wounds on June 22, necessitating emergency surgery. Despite legal hurdles along the way, he managed to bring this album to fruition.
The title “222” holds sentimental significance, symbolizing the exact time Tjay glimpsed on the clock while being airlifted to the hospital following the shooting.
