Bollywood Fever: Superstar rookie Paul Skenes and the ‘first lady of baseball’ Livvy Dunne made a stunning entrance at the MLB All-Star Game, walking the red carpet at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on Tuesday night.
Skenes, dressed sharply in a white suit with a black tie, completed his look with dark shades and black dress shoes. Olivia Dunne glittered in a silver bedazzled dress with a scoop neckline, accessorizing her crystal-adorned gown with silver pumps. Her blonde hair was styled in loose waves, gracefully pushed behind her shoulders.
The couple’s arrival followed a private jet journey to Texas, which Dunne shared on her TikTok page, captioning the post “private jet Pauly” with an audio clip about choosing a window or aisle seat. Dunne sported a graphic tank top featuring a cowboy hat and boots with the words “All-Star” and “Skenes.”
Last week, Skenes impressed with seven innings of a no-hitter before being pulled from the game. Dunne commented on his performance at the ESPYs, saying, “You know what, it would have been a cool accolade to say that you threw a no-hitter your rookie year. But also you got to make that arm last long, so I don’t blame them.”
Despite his strong desire to finish the game, Skenes understood the decision. “Definitely wanted to finish it,” he said, acknowledging the need for rest in the demanding baseball schedule. “Throwing every six days, five days, whatever it is now, I definitely understand that side of it.”
The 22-year-old rookie has already made a significant impact, becoming a heavy favorite for the NL Rookie of the Year. His dominance has even led some sportsbooks to remove the betting line. “I closed the pool after yesterday,” said Randy Blum, baseball oddsmaker for the SuperBook. Blum had considered moving Skenes from a -500 favorite to -1000 but decided it wasn’t worth it. “Unless he gets hurt, he’s a lock to win,” Blum remarked. “He’s that good from what we’ve seen so far.”
With Skenes’ exceptional start and Dunne’s unwavering support, the couple continues to capture the spotlight both on and off the field.
