Jake Paul might have a new challenger in mind for his postponed fight against Mike Tyson, and it’s a family affair.
MVP Promotions announced the postponement of the Paul vs. Tyson boxing match originally set for June 7 in Dallas. The delay is due to health concerns for Tyson, who recently experienced a medical emergency from an ulcer flareup.
While the bout is expected to be rescheduled for later in 2024, if the promotion decides to change course from the 57-year-old Tyson, Jake’s brother Logan Paul has expressed interest in stepping in.
“So Mike Tyson’s out? I’ll step in and we can settle this once and for all @jakepaul,” Logan tweeted.
Jake responded, “Mom doesn’t want me to KO you, but f*ck it. Loser has to change their last name.”
Both Paul brothers have ventured into boxing, with Logan engaging in matches against YouTuber KSI, former Bellator fighter Dillon Danis, and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. Logan has also pursued a career as a WWE Superstar.
In contrast, Jake has focused on boxing since his professional debut in 2020. He has competed in 10 professional bouts against YouTubers, professional boxers, and former MMA champions like Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, and Anderson Silva.
