Malaysia’s navy reported that two military helicopters collided and subsequently crashed during a training exercise on Tuesday, resulting in the deaths of all 10 individuals aboard.
In a short statement, the navy explained that the crash took place at a naval base in the northern state of Perak during preparations for the upcoming 90th anniversary celebrations of the navy next month.
“All victims were confirmed dead on site,” the navy confirmed, noting that the remains were transported to a hospital for identification.
