Married At First Sight star Belinda Vickers is getting married
Belinda Vickers, known from her appearance on season 8 of Nine’s reality series “Married At First Sight” in 2021, is now engaged for real.
The 31-year-old announced to the Herald Sun that her boyfriend, Melbourne pub owner Hayden Burbank, proposed to her with a romantic treasure hunt at the Botanical Gardens on Valentine’s Day.

“It was always yes. It was 12 months after MAFS that we met and it really led me to him and opened up new people for me to meet,” Vickers shared with the publication.
Burbank, expressing his admiration for his future wife, described her as his “saviour.” “She’s been phenomenal for me, the most beautiful, kind soul I’ve ever met. I had tears rolling down my face as I got down on one knee,” he recalled.
Vickers also shared the surprise proposal on Instagram, posting a Reel documenting all the clues along the way. In the footage, Burbank was visibly emotional as he proposed to her.

I’m madly in love with you, you’re the love of my life, and I’d like you to spend the rest of your life with me … Will you marry me?” he asked, kneeling down.
After Vickers happily accepted, nearby onlookers broke into applause.
Before Burbank, Vickers dated her on-screen “MAFS husband,” Patrick Dwyer, but they parted ways nine months after the show ended. They announced their split in a joint Instagram post in 2021.
Burbank, the owner of Morris Jones bar in Windsor, had his own encounter with the spotlight before meeting Vickers.
In 2021, he was imprisoned for violating strict COVID rules during the pandemic, crossing borders from Victoria to the Northern Territory and then to Western Australia to watch the AFL Grand Final.
He spent three months behind bars, sharing his experiences with the Saturday Herald Sun the following year.
