Kim Zolciak-Biermann, the star of ‘Don’t Be Tardy,’ has filed for divorce from her husband, former NFL player Kroy Biermann, after 11 years of marriage. According to TMZ, the date of separation was listed as April 30, and Kim has stated that the marriage is “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”

She has also filed for primary physical custody of their children and joint legal custody, along with a request for spousal support and the restoration of her maiden name. The couple has four children together, and during their marriage, Kroy adopt Kim’s two older daughters.

There has been no statement from either Kim or Kroy regarding the divorce. However, their relationship and subsequent marriage were well-documented on various reality shows over the years. The couple first met in 2010 at a charity event, with Kroy playing for the Atlanta Falcons at the time. Their love story was shown on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, where Kim was a cast member, and on their spin-off show, Don’t Be Tardy.

The couple’s lavish Georgia wedding was also featured on their show, with the ceremony taking place at their home in 2011. Throughout their marriage, Kim and Kroy have welcomed four children together, with Kroy also adopting Kim’s two older daughters from a previous relationship. The family often shared their adventures on Don’t Be Tardy, with the show following their travels, parties, and everyday life.

The divorce filing comes two months after their six-bedroom, nine-bathroom home in Alpharetta, Georgia, was taken off the auction block due to foreclosure. According to a Fulton County notice of foreclosure posted in February, Truist Bank was set to auction off the mansion on March 7 at the Fulton County Courthouse. However, the auction was canceled, and no new date has been set for the sale of the home. The law office of Brock & Scott, PLLC, which handles the foreclosure, declined to provide a reason for the cancelation.

The notice of foreclosure stated that Kim and Kroy had defaulted on the $1.65 million loan they took out to purchase the home on October 23, 2012. The sprawling mansion boasts six fireplaces, a four-car garage, a pool, and a wine cellar, among other features. Kim and Kroy have not publicly commented on the foreclosure or the divorce filing.

Kroy’s last appearance on Kim’s Instagram page was in February, when the couple attended a football game together. Kim shared a photo of the two of them standing alongside Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts. The photo was captioned, “Go Falcons!” and showed the couple smiling and looking happy together. However, it remains unclear when the photo was actually taken and if there were any signs of trouble in their marriage at that time.
