Three years after her disappearance, the remains of Michigan woman Dee Warner have been found on her husband’s property. Her death has been ruled a homicide.
Bollywood Fever: More than three years after her disappearance, investigators have solved the case of a missing Michigan woman, Dee Warner, after tests confirmed that her remains were found on property owned by her husband, state police announced on Wednesday.
Dee Warner, 52, was reported missing in April 2021. Her death has now been ruled a homicide, according to state police. “Although there has been positive identification on the remains and the manner of death has been confirmed, this is an ongoing investigation,” authorities shared on the social media platform X.
Warner’s husband, Dale Warner, was charged in November with murder and tampering with evidence in connection to her disappearance. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. His attorney had no immediate comment on the recent developments.
Last week, state police disclosed that human remains were discovered in Lenawee County, approximately 70 miles southwest of Detroit. Family members have since told local TV stations that the remains were found inside a sealed, empty tank typically used for crop fertilizer.
“In the dark of night, in a building that had no cameras: slide her body in there, put the end cap back on it, and weld it completely shut,” Dee’s brother Greg Hardy described to WDIV-TV during a visit to the site.
The discovery brings some closure to a case that has haunted the community and Warner’s family for years, though the investigation continues as authorities work to piece together the full details of her tragic death.
