Robyn Dixon Exits ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’ After Network Decision
Robyn Dixon announces on her podcast “Reasonably Shady” that she will not return for season 9 of “The Real Housewives of Potomac,” revealing that the decision was made by the network and not by her. She reflects on her journey and expresses gratitude for her time on the show.
Robyn Dixon has announced her exit from “The Real Housewives of Potomac,” confirming that it was not her decision to leave the popular Bravo series.
During the Monday, April 15, episode of her podcast “Reasonably Shady,” Dixon shared, “I will not be returning to season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac. The network did not invite me back. I was fired, for lack of better words.”

Dixon expressed her intent to be straightforward about the circumstances of her departure, emphasizing that it was entirely “a network decision.” While discussing the news with her fellow RHOP star Gizelle Bryant, Dixon became emotional.
Reflecting on her time on the show, Dixon told her listeners, “I hope that I inspired you, the viewers, the fans, to live your life, you know, authentically, not feel pressure to change for anyone or for society or to impress people and just to be yourself.” She described her eight-year stint on the show as “a fun, amazing, stressful, crazy, wild journey” and expressed her inability to envision it with anyone else but her castmates.
Dixon has been a staple on the RHOP since its inception in 2016, appearing alongside cast members such as Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, and Katie Rost.
“I had a very long run on the show,” she acknowledged on her podcast. “I just really appreciate the time and the opportunity that I had on the show. I just want to say thank you to the network. Bravo, Truly Original, the production company, the executives there. The people who gave me the opportunity to be on the show, who saw something in me in 2015.”
Dixon expressed gratitude toward those who believed in her potential and gave her the chance to share her life and experiences with the audience.
The news of Dixon’s departure was initially reported by The Jasmine Brand, which cited network sources stating, “Production is shaking up the cast, trying to revive the series.”
