Bollywood Fever: Japanese telecom giant SoftBank Corp is reportedly in discussions to invest approximately 100 billion yen ($684 million) in electronics manufacturer Sharp Corp, according to Kyodo news agency on Thursday.

The potential investment comes as SoftBank negotiates to acquire a portion of Sharp’s Sakai plant for the development of an AI data center. However, the feasibility of the deal remains uncertain, with reports suggesting that the two companies have yet to reach an agreement on the terms of the investment.
