Sophie Monk Surprises Passengers as Guest Flight Attendant on Virgin Australia Flight
Love Island host Sophie Monk fulfills her childhood dream of becoming a flight attendant, surprising passengers with pre-flight safety instructions on a Virgin Australia flight.
BollywoodFever: Sophie Monk gave passengers on a Virgin Australia flight quite the surprise this week when she stepped into the role of air hostess. The Love Island host, 44, shared a video on Instagram of herself confidently taking passengers through the pre-flight safety instructions, including how to use an inflatable vest and affix oxygen masks.

Monk, dressed casually in a white tank top, light brown cardigan, and skin-tight jeans, seemed right at home as she demonstrated the plane’s exits, eliciting nervous laughter from the passengers. In her Instagram post, she mentioned it had been a childhood dream of hers to work as a flight attendant. “The @virginaustralia crew letting me live out my air hostess dream,” she wrote, adding a playful emoji.

This isn’t the first time Sophie has shared behind-the-scenes tidbits about her life. Earlier this year, she revealed how she would cleverly finish filming early while starring on The Bachelorette Australia in 2017. Speaking on The Hundred with Andy Lee, she explained that producers would allow her to wrap up filming after kissing her suitors, as it was all they needed for the show.

Sophie currently lives with her husband, Joshua Gross, whom she married in 2022 after the couple eloped and exchanged vows at their Central Coast home in New South Wales.
