Grammy-Winning Singer Tori Kelly Hospitalized with Serious Blood Clot Condition
Tori Kelly, the renowned singer and songwriter, is currently undergoing treatment at Cedars-Sinai, one of the country’s top hospitals, after collapsing during a dinner outing with friends in downtown L.A. According to close sources, the situation is deemed “really serious.”
Reported by TMZ, during the Sunday night incident, Tori’s heart started beating rapidly, causing her to lose consciousness for a significant period. Concerned about her well-being, her friends decided to rush her to Cedars-Sinai instead of waiting for an ambulance.
Doctors in the ICU have diagnosed blood clots in her legs and lungs and are continuing their assessment to determine if any clots are affecting her heart. Throughout her hospitalization, Tori has been in and out of consciousness.
With a successful career spanning many years, Tori Kelly is a Grammy-winning artist who earned accolades for Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Performance/Song in 2019. Her talent was also recognized with the Billboard Women in Music Breakthrough Artist Award in 2015.
