Venezuela Secures Top Spot in Group B with 3-0 Victory Over Jamaica
Venezuela dominates Jamaica with a 3-0 win, securing top spot in Group B and a Copa America quarter-final match against Canada.
Bollywood Fever: Venezuela secured top position in Group B with a decisive 3-0 victory over Jamaica in Texas on Sunday, setting up a Copa America quarter-final clash with Canada. Already assured of their place in the last eight after victories over Ecuador and Mexico, Venezuela needed just a point to clinch the top spot and avoid facing defending champions Argentina in the next round.

The breakthrough came in the 49th minute when Eduard Bello scored with a powerful downward header. Seven minutes later, Salomon Rondon doubled the lead with a scuffed effort past Jamaica’s keeper, Jahmali Waite. Eric Ramirez sealed the victory with a third goal on the breakaway in the 85th minute.
Venezuela’s win was complemented by Ecuador’s advancement as Group B runners-up. Ecuador qualified for the quarter-finals thanks to a superior goal difference after holding Mexico to a 0-0 draw in the other match, with both teams finishing on four points.
