Vivienne Jolie-Pitt Joins Angelina Jolie at the Tony Awards to Support “The Outsiders”
Angelina Jolie and her daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt dazzled on the Tony Awards red carpet, supporting their Broadway musical “The Outsiders,” which is nominated for 12 awards.
Bollywood Fever: Vivienne Jolie-Pitt made a stunning appearance at the Tony Awards alongside her mother, Angelina Jolie, on Sunday. The 15-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt joined her famous mom on Broadway’s biggest night.
The mother-daughter duo graced the red carpet in coordinating outfits. Angelina looked radiant in a draped seafoam green velvet Atelier Versace gown paired with a matching shrug. Vivienne chose a crisp white collared shirt, complemented by a teal-colored vest, trousers, and bow tie.
They attended the event to support their Broadway musical, “The Outsiders,” which has received 12 nominations. Angelina, 49, served as a producer on the show, while Vivienne contributed as a producer’s assistant. The “Maleficent” star is also scheduled to present during the Ariana DeBose-hosted ceremony.
This public appearance follows their attendance at the opening night performance of “The Outsiders” a few months ago, where they posed for red carpet photos. Vivienne also recently made headlines for being listed in “The Outsiders” playbill as Vivienne Jolie, omitting her father’s surname.
Angelina and Brad, who ended their 12-year relationship in 2016 after two years of marriage, share six children: Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and 15-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
Vivienne’s choice to use only her mother’s surname follows similar decisions by her siblings. Zahara introduced herself as “Zahara Marley Jolie” during a sorority ceremony at Spelman College, and Shiloh recently filed paperwork to change her name to “Shiloh Jolie.” According to an insider, Shiloh handled the legal process independently.
Maddox has also chosen not to use Pitt as his last name on non-legal documents, preferring Jolie instead.
Although Angelina and Brad were declared legally single in 2019, their divorce proceedings continue, including disputes over custody and their Chateau Miraval winery. They are currently clashing over non-disclosure agreements.
