Nikki Garcia, retired WWE star, has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Artem Chigvintsev, after two years of marriage.
This shocking news comes just days after Artem’s arrest for alleged domestic violence at their Napa, California home.
According to online court records, Nikki submitted the divorce papers at the Superior Court of Napa, officially ending their union.
Chigvintsev, a 42-year-old professional dancer, was taken into custody on August 29, following a domestic incident.
His arrest came just days after the couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary.
Artem had posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, writing, “Happy anniversary my love, can’t see my life without you. You are my everything.”

Law enforcement responded to two 911 calls from the couple’s home. Initially, the call was to report an injury, but they later asked paramedics not to come.
Despite this, police were dispatched after hearing disturbing sounds in the background. Artem was arrested and booked at the Napa County Jail on felony domestic violence charges.
He was later released on a $25,000 bond.
Reports suggest that Nikki threw shoes at Artem before the incident escalated. The arrest happened just four days after their wedding anniversary, where both shared celebratory posts on social media.

Nikki was spotted over the weekend boarding a flight to Las Vegas without her wedding ring, accompanied by her son and an assistant.
Reports also indicate that she started looking for an attorney the day after Artem’s alleged attack, with the intention of ending their marriage.
