The memoir reveals intimate details of Lisa Marie’s struggles and was released nearly two years after her passing in January 2023 at age 54.

Both Harper and Finley shared photos from their special day, with Harper posting a picture of herself on a scenic ocean deck, captioned, “sweet sixteen w my girl @sofiaotis.1,” in reference to her close friend who joined the celebrations. Finley also posted her own snapshots, including an outdoor photo where she sported a sleek black dress and a Louis Vuitton purse, simply captioned, “sweet sixteen.”

Their older sister, actress Riley Keough, shared a touching tribute on Instagram, writing, “Happy Sweet 16 to my angel girls. You are the most special girls in the whole wide world. I am so lucky to be your big sissy,” alongside throwback pictures of her and the twins. One particularly emotional photo included their late brother Benjamin, who tragically passed away in 2020.

The family gathering came amid the release of Lisa Marie Presley’s posthumous memoir, which she had co-authored with Riley. The memoir details Lisa Marie’s struggles, including her battle with opioid addiction following the birth of her twins in 2008, which contributed to her tragic passing from a bowel obstruction in January 2023.
