Becky Lynch Discusses Her Relationship with WWE Colleague Charlotte Flair

Bollywoodfever, March 4: Two years following a heated title exchange that escalated into a backstage verbal clash, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch found common ground, albeit temporarily, when they teamed up with Bianca Belair and Shotzi for the 2023 Women’s WarGames match. 

After emerging victorious from the dual-cage contest, both Flair and Lynch were visibly moved during the post-match press conference as they reminisced about their times as adversaries and collaborators.

In a heartfelt discussion with “Inside The Ropes,” Lynch shared insights into their poignant moment at the press conference and the brief revival of their camaraderie. “It was quite special, wasn’t it? Charlotte and I seem to be in constant competition, striving to outdo one another because we’re each determined to be the best.

This ambition makes it difficult to maintain a harmonious relationship permanently, but the brief respite was refreshing,” Lynch commented. “Long-standing animosity can become a burden, so it’s relieving to step away from it, even for a short while. However, in the world of wrestling, where conflict is the essence of our storytelling, such breaks are fleeting.”

After the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames event, Lynch and Flair went back to their respective brands, “WWE Raw” and “WWE SmackDown.”

Three months on, Lynch is poised to compete against Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40. Meanwhile, Flair is in recovery, rehabilitating from injuries to her ACL, MCL, and meniscus.
