Megan Thee Stallion Criticized for Twerking at Kamala Harris’ Rally
Megan Thee Stallion’s Twerkingat Kamala Harris’ Atlanta rally sparks controversy. Critics question the appropriateness of her song choices and impact on Harris’ campaign.
Bollywood Fever: American rapper Megan Thee Stallion is under fire for her performance at Kamala Harris’ Atlanta Presidential rally. In videos from the rally, Megan was seen performing her hit song “Savage.”
Dressed in a blue power suit, Megan was joined by background dancers on stage. At one point, Megan also twerked on stage, leaving the audience in shock. Several social media users slammed Megan for the performance and wondered if it might negatively impact Kamala Harris‘ campaign.

“Imagine performing a sex song at a presidential rally,” one social media user commented. “How is this election real,” added another. “Twerking at a political rally is a choice… this can’t be what we have representing us. This was a bad move on Kamala for inviting such trash on stage at this point in the political campaign,” wrote a third user.
“Kamala about to lose votes,” read a fourth comment. “Why is she performing a sexual song in front of kids at a presidential rally?” another user asked.
Megan also performed her song “Body” at the rally. Before the performance, she told the crowd, “I know my ladies in the crowd love their body. And if you want to keep loving your body, you know who to vote for.” Megan went on to share a video with Kamala, giving her a shoutout as the “future President of the US.”
Current Vice President Kamala Harris became the Democrat presidential nominee after Joe Biden stepped down from the presidential run. Since her nomination announcement, Kamala has received support from many prominent figures in the West, including Barack and Michelle Obama.
