Adin Ross’s Alleged Retirement Statement Stirs Uncertainty Among Fans

An unverified statement attributed to Adin Ross is circulating online, suggesting the streamer is ending his career on Kick, though doubts persist about its authenticity.

On April 17, a fan account named ‘Adin Updates’ shared a detailed declaration asserting that Kick streamer Adin Ross is stepping away from his streaming career effective immediately.

Adin Updates, clarifying that they are not “impersonating” Ross, shared the message with their 104.9k followers with the title, “Adin Ross with a message.”

The statement expressed: “Today, I stand before you with a heart full of gratitude and a head full of memories as I embark on this journey called retirement.”

Drake allegedly responded to Adin Ross via text on Viral Video, It is real

The post continued, acknowledging Ross’ supporters and collaborators. “First and foremost, I want to thank my incredible fans… to my fellow content creators and colleagues, thank you for the camaraderie, the collaborations, and endless laughs.”

Ross’ community has since voiced their reactions, contemplating a future without the prominent Kick streamer.

One viewer commented, “His streams helped me out of a hard place after my mom died. I hope this isn’t true and that he continues to stream in the future.” Another added, “Nooooo my king.”

However, skepticism about the origin of the statement prevails. A viewer remarked, “He didn’t write this lmao,” while another mentioned, “April Fools was 16 days ago.”

If true, Ross’ alleged retirement would mark the end of a five-year streaming tenure that began on Twitch in 2018. After a ban from Twitch in 2023 due to inappropriate content, Ross transitioned to Kick, quickly rising to fame.

Despite recently signing a lucrative three-year contract on Kick, Ross has kept the specifics private, only hinting, “not talking numbers,” but asserting he was “re-signed” and that this year was “going to be crazy.”

Ross’ move influenced other high-profile streamers like Amouranth and xQc to switch from Twitch to Kick, with xQc securing a $100 million non-exclusive deal with Kick in 2023.

While the rumor of Ross’ retirement circulates, he has not confirmed his authorship of the statement released by Adin Updates, leaving his fans eager for confirmation.
