Arnold Schwarzenegger Shares Progress on Recovery From Open-Heart Surgery, Confirms ‘FUBAR’ Season 2 Filming Remains on Track
BollywoodFever, March 28: Arnold Schwarzenegger has given fans an update following his open-heart surgery, reassuring them that he’ll be returning to his usual activities soon.
The 76-year-old star and ex-Governor of California posted a photo from his recovery process, humorously featuring his new pacemaker as a cartoon-like ticking bomb.
Schwarzenegger expressed gratitude for the worldwide support he received, addressing concerns regarding his pacemaker interfering with the filming of ‘FUBAR’ Season 2. “Absolutely not,” he confirmed in a message on Thursday afternoon. “I will be ready to film in April and you can only see it if you’re really looking for it.”
Schwarzenegger revealed for the first time that he had a pacemaker fitted during an episode of his podcast “Arnold’s Pump Club” on Monday.
He mentioned that opening up about his health “goes against so much of my upbringing in Austria, where nobody ever talked about medical issues.
Everything related to healthcare was kept to yourself.” He went on to explain that the procedure was necessary to address a congenital heart defect known as a bicuspid aortic valve, with which Schwarzenegger was born.
The action comedy series featuring Schwarzenegger, “FUBAR,” launched its inaugural season on Netflix last May.
Following its success, Netflix swiftly greenlit a second season, which Schwarzenegger enthusiastically announced at the company’s Tudum event. In addition to starring in the series, Schwarzenegger serves as an executive producer, working alongside creator and showrunner Nick Santora.
The cast of the series includes Emma Brunner, Fortune Feimster, Jay Baruchel, Aparna Brielle, Andy Buckley, Barbara Eve Harris, Gabriel Luna, Milan Carter, Fabiana Udenio, and Travis Van Winkle.
