Bollywoodfever, March 15: During the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas, renowned podcaster Bobbi Althoff was reportedly escorted out of a party hosted by Drake at the Mayfair nightclub on Monday, March 11.
The event, which followed the premiere of “Magic City: An American Fantasy,” a documentary co-executive produced by Drake’s DreamCrew Entertainment, saw Althoff attempting to enter uninvited, leading to her removal by security personnel.
Sources informed the Daily Mail that Althoff was not on the guest list and her attempt to join the celebration raised eyebrows considering her past interactions with Drake. “Given the history between Bobbi Althoff and Drake, it’s understandable why her presence was not welcomed at the event,” a source revealed to the Daily Mail.
The backdrop to this incident is a viral interview from July, where Drake was a guest on Althoff’s podcast, which many found awkward and led to speculation about a possible fallout between the two. The situation seemed to escalate when Drake unfollowed Althoff on Instagram shortly after the podcast.
Althoff later discussed the rumored discord on the “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer” podcast in January, hinting at underlying tensions.
