Brittany Mahomes Discloses Suffering from a ‘Fractured Back’
Bollywoodfever, March 6: Brittany Mahomes is urging mothers to prioritize their health following her own injury experience.
“Here’s your daily reminder: After having children, please look after your pelvic floor,” Mahomes, 28, shared on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, March 6, with a picture of her wearing a hospital bracelet. “Really. From: A girl with a fractured back.”
Despite facing this health issue, Brittany, who is a mother to Sterling, 3, and Bronze, 14 months, with her husband Patrick Mahomes, is seeking positivity in the situation. In another Instagram Story, she shared a photo of Patrick, 28, carrying Coors Light and walking with their daughter, with the caption, “But maybe a getaway with my loved ones will help?”
Brittany and Patrick, who have been together since meeting in high school in 2011, maintained their relationship through college years at different institutions—Patrick at Texas Tech University and Brittany at the University of Texas at Tyler—and married in Hawaii in March 2022.
Since Patrick was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017, Brittany has been a constant support. She was present when Patrick led the Chiefs to a Super Bowl LVIII victory over the San Francisco 49ers, 25-22 in overtime, last month. Patrick acknowledged his family during the trophy presentation, expressing how much their presence meant to him.
The family celebrated the Super Bowl win with a trip to Disneyland, where they enjoyed rides, met Disney characters, and Patrick participated in a parade.
Patrick has emphasized the importance of balancing a successful career with a fulfilling personal life, a theme explored in his 2023 docuseries, “Quarterback.” He aimed to demonstrate that it’s possible to excel professionally while maintaining a normal family life.
Brittany, on her part, spoke to Yahoo!Life about finding the right balance between her career and motherhood, emphasizing the importance of setting a hardworking example for her children. She enjoys watching her children grow and develop their personalities, particularly noting Sterling’s emerging individuality and looking forward to Bronze’s next milestones.
Brittany is optimistic about the future and excited to see what lies ahead for her family.
