Charly Barby and Kelly Villares Celebrate First Game as Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders After Making the Squad
Stars of Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts docuseries, Charly Barby and Kelly Villares, celebrate their first game as official Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders after missing the cut last season.
Bollywood Fever: Charly Barby and Kelly Villares, stars of the Netflix docuseries America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, recently celebrated a major milestone—participating in their first game as official members of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
This achievement is especially meaningful for the duo, who narrowly missed making the team last season.
On August 24, Charly, 23, shared a heartfelt TikTok video documenting the moment she and Kelly, along with the rest of the cheer squad, were on their way to AT&T Stadium for their first game, where the Dallas Cowboys faced the Los Angeles Chargers. The video, set to Miranda Lambert’s “If I Was a Cowboy,” captured the excitement as the cheerleaders, holding yellow roses, prepared for their big debut.

“COMING TO YOU LIVE BUSSIN TO OUR FIRST GAME 🥹🥹🥹💙💙💙⭐️⭐️⭐️🏈🏈🏈 #dallascowboyscheerleaders #americassweethearts,” Charly captioned the video, highlighting the significance of the occasion for both her and Kelly.
Charly and Kelly, who had been cut in the final round of auditions the previous season, made the 2024-2025 squad, joining Reece Allman, Anna Kate Sunvold, 10 other rookies, and 24 returning veterans.
On July 24, Charly announced her selection to the team via Instagram with the message, “I AM A DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADER.” She expressed the emotional journey and hard work it took to achieve her dream, calling it “the most rewarding, life-changing & amazing challenge I have ever put my all into.”
Reflecting on the challenges she faced, Charly wrote, “Becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader has been the furthest thing from easy, but the best thing I’ve ever encountered. This dream has meant everything to me for so long and achieving it has been the first & last thought on my mind every day for years.”
Kelly, who quickly became a fan favorite during America’s Sweethearts, shared her excitement about making the team on July 25. Despite being cut last season—after dramatically dyeing her hair from blonde to brunette during the show’s makeover episode—she persevered and finally achieved her lifelong dream.
“It is an absolute honor and privilege to dance alongside such amazing women and to be a part of such an incredible organization,” Kelly wrote in her Instagram post. “Grateful is an understatement.”
Their journey, highlighted in the docuseries, has now come full circle as they proudly don the iconic uniform and take the field as official Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
