Jada Pinkett Smith Fends Off Intruders Climbing onto Her Balcony
Jada Pinkett Smith faced a frightening incident at her Los Angeles residence earlier this week when two men allegedly climbed onto her balcony while she was inside.
According to law enforcement sources speaking to TMZ, the individuals, wearing hoodies, attempted to break in shortly before 8 PM, presumably thinking the coast was clear. However, they reportedly fled when the “Red Table Talk” host spotted them.
Police were called to the scene, but by the time they arrived, the suspects had already disappeared.
It remains unclear whether Jada was specifically targeted or if this was part of a larger pattern of burglaries targeting upscale homes in the Los Angeles area.
Authorities have filed a report for attempted burglary, and the case is currently under investigation.
Jada and her husband Will have been separated for some time, and it’s unlikely that he was present during the break-in, particularly given their reported amicable relationship following the Oscars incident.
It’s also uncertain whether Jada had any other company at the time or if she was alone.
Last year, Jada mentioned the possibility of moving back in with Will, but it appears that hasn’t occurred yet.
This incident adds to a string of recent break-ins in Los Angeles, with celebrities like Lee Byung-hun, Lena Waithe, Abigail Ratchford, and Keanu Reeves among the victims.
