Kai Cenat Regains Top Spot as Twitch’s Most-Subscribed Streamer after Viral Broadcast with Kevin Hart
Twitch star Kai Cenat has reclaimed his position as the platform’s most-subscribed streamer following a highly viral broadcast featuring comedian and actor Kevin Hart.

On May 23, 2024, Cenat welcomed Kevin Hart to his Twitch stream, and the duo quickly hit it off. Fans praised Hart’s natural flair for online entertainment, leading to several humorous moments that went viral.
This collaboration proved immensely successful for Kai, as evidenced by his surge in subscribers. According to TwitchTracker, Kai now boasts approximately 126,827 subscribers, surpassing Jynxzi, with whom he has been competing for the top spot.

Kai and Jynxzi have been engaged in a back-and-forth battle for Twitch’s most-subscribed streamer title. Kai first claimed the top spot in October 2022, setting a record for the most subscribers on the platform with over 300,000 during his viral subathon.
However, Jynxzi surpassed him in August 2023, celebrating the achievement on X. Despite Kai briefly overtaking Jynxzi later that year, the Rainbow 6 player regained the lead in December 2023.
Now, Kai has reclaimed the top position in May 2024, although the gap between him and Jynxzi is relatively small. Nevertheless, Cenat holds the record for all-time subscribers thanks to his 300,000 subs in 2022.
Kai’s success continued with his recent viral Elden Ring marathon, where he streamed himself playing the game for seven consecutive days. His gameplay even caught the attention of major music artists like The Weeknd, who expressed interest in picking up the game again after watching Kai’s broadcast.
