Kelly Slater and Kalani Miller Announce They’re Expecting Their First Child
Kelly Slater is set to become a father once more!
The acclaimed surfer, aged 52, along with his longtime companion, Kalani Miller, shared the news of their impending parenthood through an Instagram post on Tuesday.
The couple shared a charming black-and-white video where they are seen strolling together on the beach. The footage gently unveils Mikoh’s co-founder, Miller’s, pronounced baby bump, concluding with a tender embrace between Slater and Miller.
They chose a simple white heart emoji as the caption for their announcement.
This marks the first child for the duo together, although Slater is already a father to an adult daughter, Taylor, from a previous relationship.
Slater and Miller, who began their relationship in 2006, have been a strong unit ever since. Miller, who launched a swimwear brand with her sister, affectionately referred to Slater as her “ride or die” during a 2020 interview with Graham Bensinger, expressing her desire to have two to three children with the surfing legend.
In a touching tribute last month for Slater’s 52nd birthday, Miller posted several black-and-white snapshots of the couple through the years on Instagram, celebrating Slater as her “favorite person in the world” and thanking him for his unparalleled love and generosity.
