Lauri Peterson Announces Son Josh Waring’s Tragic Passing at 35
Josh Waring, the son of “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum Lauri Peterson, has passed away, his mother has confirmed. In a statement filled with profound sorrow, Lauri announced the loss of Josh on Easter Sunday, saying, “It is with a shattered heart that I write this post to let you know that my sweet Josh left this earth Easter Sunday.”
Lauri expressed the depth of her grief, stating, “No one can ever prepare you for this feeling of such deep loss. Every fiber in my body hurts. Josh fought every single day for most of his adult life, for his life, but this past Sunday, the challenge was too great.”
Reflecting on Josh’s life, Lauri reminisced about his childhood, filled with positive qualities and passions. She acknowledged that despite his struggles in adulthood, Josh remained kind-hearted, humorous, and loving towards his family.
Lauri expressed gratitude towards those who supported Josh through his struggles with substance abuse, acknowledging the angels on earth who offered understanding and made a significant impact on his life. She also thanked parents in similar situations for sharing their experiences.
Concluding her tribute, Lauri shared, “Josh I love you so much and I will miss you terribly! I will forever be your ‘Mama Bear & Mama Dukes’ and every time the clock turns to 11:11, I will expect your call to tell me to make a wish! … Heaven has gained the coolest angel and you have gained your freedom at last sweet boy.”
Josh’s life was marked by his battle with substance abuse and encounters with the law, issues that were publicized through his mother’s reality TV show, “RHOC.”
Josh was 35 years old at the time of his passing.
