Lauryn Goodman Joins Celebs Go Dating Amid Paternity Scandal Involving Kyle Walker

Lauryn Goodman, embroiled in a paternity scandal with England footballer Kyle Walker, joins Celebs Go Dating. Discover her journey and other exciting updates from the world of TV.

Bollywood Fever: Former Towie star Lauryn Goodman has become a sensational addition to the cast of E4’s Celebs Go Dating (CGD), following a high-profile paternity scandal involving England footballer Kyle Walker. Walker fathered Lauryn’s ten-month-old son while still married to his wife, Annie Kilner. Although the Manchester City star and Annie split earlier this year, they reunited just as she announced her pregnancy with their fourth child.

Lauryn, hoping for better luck in love, will be the late arrival on series 13 of CGD, airing later this year. A TV insider described her as a “sensational signing” due to her huge profile and notoriety as one of the country’s best-known singletons.

“Almost every celeb on CGD has some kind of backstory involving their private life, but Lauryn’s is one of the most sensational,” the insider said. “However, she won’t receive any special treatment from the experts, as all applicants get an equal chance at finding love.”

Lauryn will receive guidance from the show’s ‘dating agents,’ Paul Carrick Brunson, Anna Williamson, and Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn. She will join a lineup including Love Island’s Chris Taylor, Married at First Sight’s Ella Morgan, Made in Chelsea’s Tristan Phipps, Coronation Street’s Helen Flanagan, Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb, and singer Jamelia.

This may not be the last time we see Lauryn on our screens. She is expected to fly to Germany this weekend for the next England match with her son, Kairo, to watch his father, Kyle, on the pitch. Rumors suggest she might be followed by a camera crew for a new documentary about life as a Wag.

In other entertainment news, the BBC has unveiled a diverse new season of comedy. Highlights include “Smoggie Queens,” which delves into the lives of drag queens from Middlesborough, and “Only Child,” a story about a Scottish father-and-son duo. The highly anticipated “Amandaland,” a spin-off of the hit comedy “Motherland,” will feature Lucy Punch reprising her role as Amanda, joined by Joanna Lumley as her judgmental mother. The series will follow Amanda navigating life as a divorced mom forced to downsize and move to a less affluent area.

Additional stars set to appear in the BBC’s comedy lineup include David Morrissey and Aimee Lou Wood in a father-daughter pregnancy story, and David Mitchell leading the comedy detective series “Ludwig.”

Elvis actor Austin Butler might be the next star to read for CBeebies Bedtime Stories. Butler expressed interest in the role during an appearance on Zoe Ball’s Radio 2 breakfast show. The popular series, which features celebrities reading books for young viewers, has previously included stars like Tom Hardy, Tom Hiddleston, and Dolly Parton.

Comedian Maisie Adams shared her experience of overcoming stage fright at the Royal Variety Performance by fixating on Simon Cowell’s height. Adams, who had been nervous about the gig, found herself distracted by Cowell’s shorter stature, which surprisingly helped her focus on her routine.

ITV’s courtroom drama “The Twelve” will return for a second season exclusively on ITVX. The new series will continue the story with Sam Neill as barrister Brett Colby, representing a new client in a complex murder trial set in rural Western Australia.

Lastly, Wheeler Dealers expert Ant Anstead is expanding his restoration endeavors with a new show. “Ant Anstead: The Naked Mechanic” will follow him as he renovates a 500-year-old farmhouse in Bedford for his parents. The series, airing on Quest, will also feature Anstead buying, restoring, and selling old cars to fund the home renovation project.
