Their older sister, actress Riley Keough, shared a touching tribute on Instagram, writing, “Happy Sweet 16 to my angel girls. You are the most special girls in the whole wide world. I am so lucky to be your big sissy,” alongside throwback pictures of her and the twins. One particularly emotional photo included their late brother Benjamin, who tragically passed away in 2020.

The memoir details Lisa Marie’s struggles, including her battle with opioid addiction following the birth of her twins in 2008, which contributed to her tragic passing from a bowel obstruction in January 2023.
