Mo’Nique has once again criticized Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry, reigniting her long-standing feud with them. During a recent performance on Katt Williams’ tour, where she is an opening act, the comedian used profanity and insults, referring to them as “coon motherf*****s.”
Before launching into her tirade, she yelled, “F*** YOU OPRAH WINFREY, F*** YOU TYLER PERRY!!!” She also encouraged the audience to join in, with a crude call-back.
While some audience members joined in, others seemed hesitant, prompting Mo’Nique to call out an Oprah fan in the crowd. She even jokingly suggested that the male attendee could bring Oprah “back to Black” by having sex with her.
Despite facetiously claiming her love for Oprah, Mo’Nique proceeded to call her “simple-minded” and a “raggedy bitch” moments later.
In the midst of her remarks, Mo’Nique stated she would not apologize for anything said during the set and went on to question Oprah’s relationship with Gayle King, implying they are romantically involved.
Mo’Nique declared, “I’m too motherfing old to be scared of this bitch. I’m too old to be intimidated by this bitch. I’m too old to hold the motherfing truth.”
Mo’Nique’s feud with Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry began when she alleged they “blackballed” her in Hollywood after she refused to attend certain press events for the 2009 film “Precious,” which they produced.
Over the years, the comedian has criticized Oprah and Tyler multiple times, accusing them of trying to sabotage her career. Most recently, on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, she claimed to have a recording of Tyler Perry admitting to bad-mouthing her, a claim Perry has denied vehemently.
This feud has lasted for 15 years and shows no signs of abating.
