The incident occurred just after 5 p.m. at the intersection of Beulah and Small Avenues in Pueblo, Colorado.
According to Pueblo police, the mother was pushing a stroller as she attempted to cross the street when a driver, traveling at a very low speed, struck them.
The driver was cited for failure to yield.
Fortunately, police reported that both the mother and baby are expected to recover. While there were only minor injuries reported, authorities did not specify whether it was the mother, the baby, or both who sustained the injuries.
