Mystery Woman Debunks Marriage Rumors with Diljit Dosanjh, Clarifies Origin of Viral Photos
Punjabi musician and actor Diljit Dosanjh, known for his candidness, is enjoying rapid career progression with recent successes in cinema. His portrayal of the late singer Amar Singh Chamkila in the newly released Netflix film “Chamkila” has been well-received by audiences.
Amidst this acclaim, rumors of his secret marriage to an American-Indian woman and their alleged son have surfaced. Diljit has remained quiet on the matter, but the woman in the viral photos has now spoken out.
She took to the subreddit Bolly Blinds N Gossip to address the claims, sharing the viral photos and snippets from entertainment portals. “Diljit’s wife’s photo on the internet is NOT a woman called Sandeep Kaur. It’s me!” she posted, explaining that the images were from a music video shoot for the movie “Mukhtiar Chadha” where she worked as a model. “I was made aware by friends and relatives that my image was being used maliciously to be ‘Diljit Dosanjh’s wife’ on the internet.
At first I laughed it off as I had no idea how this happened, and I did attempt some take down requests across YouTube and Quora. Never did I think the image would remain so pervasive for so many years. This news continues to go viral every so often, and here we are again with my image being used on a lot of TikTok’s and Instagram posts recently. I just want to clear the air that this picture is of me and I am not Sandeep Kaur.” She also requested that netizens report any posts spreading misinformation about her relationship with Diljit.
Despite these distractions, Diljit rarely discusses his personal life. He recently opened up about his childhood, revealing a strained relationship with his family.
Professionally, he is currently basking in the success of two recent releases: the star-studded “Crew,” featuring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon, which premiered in theaters, and the Imtiaz Ali-directed biopic about Amar Singh Chamkila, available on Netflix, where he stars alongside Parineeti Chopra.
