Bollywood Fever: Selena Gomez and her boyfriend, music producer Benny Blanco, recently delighted fans by participating in the “Who’s Most Likely To: Couples Edition” TikTok challenge. The 31-year-old singer and her 36-year-old beau answered a series of lighthearted questions, giving fans a glimpse into their charming relationship.
Seated comfortably on a pink couch, the couple shared who is most likely to fall asleep during a movie (both), who eats the most (Blanco), and who takes the longest to get ready in the morning (Blanco, to his surprise). When it came to more personal questions, such as who apologizes first after an argument and who spends the most money, the couple appeared less certain.
However, one question they answered with absolute confidence was who said “I love you” first. With a proud smile and a mouthed “me,” Gomez pointed to herself, while Blanco appeared delighted.
The couple’s TikTok post, which had comments turned off, nevertheless showed their mutual affection clearly. Gomez and Blanco were first romantically linked last year, having transitioned from longtime friends and collaborators to a couple in 2023.
Blanco reflected on their relationship’s beginnings in an interview with WSJ Magazine, saying, “It’s crazy how your partner could just be sitting there the whole time, right in front of your eyes, and you don’t even notice. And then you have that Clueless moment where you’re like, ‘Wait, I’m in love.'”
Their relationship has only blossomed since. In April, a source told ET that Gomez’s friends and family are very supportive of the relationship, as are Blanco’s loved ones. “Everyone can see that they have a loving relationship and both sides couldn’t be more encouraging,” the source noted.
“Selena trusts him more than any other past romantic partner in her life,” the source added. “They are very respectful of one another and their relationship is growing in positive ways.”
Gomez’s willingness to share intimate details, like being the first to say “I love you,” endears her even more to her fans, who are thrilled to see her in such a happy and trusting relationship.
