The first footage of the action-horror-comedy “Demon Hunters,” a collaborative project between India and Taiwan, will be unveiled at the Cannes Film Market. Directed by Chen Mei-Juin and featuring an international cast, the film promises a thrilling blend of genres.
The upcoming Cannes Film Market will debut the first footage from the India-Taiwan co-production “Demon Hunters.”
Directed by Chen Mei-Juin of “The Gangster’s Daughter” fame, the film blends action, horror, and comedy elements. It is a joint venture between Taiwan’s Light House Productions and India’s Kleos Entertainment Group, supported by the Taiwan government.
“Demon Hunters” features a prominent cast including Arjan Bajwa from the Prime Video series “Bestseller,” J.C. Lin from “Breaking and Re-entering,” along with Regina Lei (“Antikalpa”), Jack Kao (“Seven Killings”), and Harry Chan (“A Boy and a Girl”). The cinematography is handled by Tony Cheung, a seasoned professional from Hong Kong known for “Hidden Strike.”
Cindy Shyu from Light House Productions expressed her enthusiasm: “’Demon Hunters’ is a testament to the power of collaboration. We are thrilled to bring this unique blend of action and comedy to the global stage, and Cannes provides the perfect platform to showcase our vision.”
