Bollywoodfever, March 2: The former girlfriend of well-known streamer Wilbur Soot has criticized his apology as “self-centered” following her allegations of abuse.
In February 2024, Wilbur Soot, a notable figure in the Minecraft community, faced allegations after his ex-girlfriend and fellow streamer ‘Shubble’ referred to a previous partner who, she claimed, physically harmed her during their time together.
Her discussions on the matter became widely circulated online, where she detailed how this former partner would cause bruises and bite marks on her despite her requests for him to desist.
“He would even joke that it looked like he abused me,” she recounted. “And eventually he did acknowledge how bad it looked that I was covered in bruises all the time, so he stopped biting my arms as often and he started biting my legs instead.”

Though Shubble did not explicitly identify Soot in her allegations, he addressed the claims shortly afterward in a statement, admitting he had become “slobbish, disrespectful, and selfish” towards the end of their relationship.
He described the biting and bruising as “consensual, playful and reciprocally enjoyed,” and extended an apology, despite believing their perceptions of their interactions were different.
Soot’s apology has since been met with significant criticism, with peers in the content creation community condemning his response as “narcissistic” and “vile.” Initially, Shubble indicated she would respond to the apology in her own time and temporarily withdrew from social media. Now, she has decided to publicly address the situation.
