Amouranth Challenges Assertion of ‘Loneliness Epidemic’ Amid AI Counterpart’s $34K Earnings in 24 Hours
OnlyFans model Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth‘ Siragusa has unveiled the substantial earnings her AI counterpart achieved on its debut day, despite concerns about its alleged contribution to a “loneliness epidemic.”
At the beginning of 2024, renowned streamer Amouranth introduced an AI version of herself capable of “advanced roleplaying” and personalized content creation for subscribers.
The AI, reflecting Amouranth’s personality and evolving through user interactions, can interpret and experience various forms of media, including images, audio, and videos.
Despite the premium pricing, with “Friends with Benefits” and “Boyfriend” tiers reaching up to $200 per month, Siragusa’s AI has quickly become a revenue generator. However, some users express apprehension about its potential implications.
In a post on X, Amouranth shared on her personal account that her influencer AI has already achieved significant revenue. According to the OnlyFans model, within just 24 hours and with a single tweet announcing the AI, she garnered $34,000 through subscriptions.
On average, users spent $20 on the AI, with a notable portion of participants not even following the account—indicating a curiosity-driven exploration of this innovative technology.
Responding to concerns about the potential negative impacts of her AI, Amouranth defended herself against accusations of contributing to a loneliness epidemic.
“A lot of people are saying this type of thing is the cause of a loneliness epidemic—I disagree,” she asserted. “This doesn’t cause loneliness—it’s probably closer to being therapeutic. It’s what people reach for to refrain from feeling alone.”
