Arsenal Secures Top Spot with Dominant 3-0 Win Over Brighton
Arsenal climbs back to the top of the Premier League table with a convincing 3-0 victory against Brighton, featuring goals from Saka, Havertz, and Trossard, marking their 10th win in the last 11 league games.
Arsenal reignited their quest for the Premier League crown with a commanding 3-0 win against Brighton and Hove Albion, propelling them to the top of the league standings on Saturday. This victory came in response to Manchester City’s win earlier in the day, which had temporarily demoted Arsenal to third place. However, Arsenal’s impressive performance overcame what appeared to be a challenging fixture with ease.

With this win, Arsenal has now triumphed in 10 of their last 11 league matches, accumulating 71 points from 31 games. They sit atop the league, slightly edging out Liverpool and the reigning champions, Manchester City, both of whom have 70 points. Notably, Arsenal boasts a superior goal difference compared to their closest challengers.
Despite Brighton’s spirited start, Arsenal quickly found their rhythm, with Bukayo Saka opening the scoring from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute. The penalty was awarded after Tariq Lamptey was deemed to have fouled Gabriel Jesus inside the box.
The visitors continued to pose a significant threat, doubling their lead through Kai Havertz, who converted Jorginho’s setup in the 62nd minute. Arsenal’s dominance was further sealed by former Brighton winger Leandro Trossard, who came off the bench to score a dazzling solo goal, capping off a stellar performance.
