Caitlin Clark Excels in Academics with a 3.64 GPA Amidst Athletic Achievements
Caitlin Clark isn’t just a phenom on the basketball court; she’s also excelling academically. The NCAA’s all-time leading scorer boasts an impressive 3.64 GPA as a marketing major at Iowa.
Clark’s academic achievements came to light via social media following her recent comments about her intention to graduate this year.

During her introductory press conference with the Indiana Fever, when asked about her participation in the upcoming Paris Olympics, Clark emphasized her educational commitments over playing for Team USA.
“I would love to be on the Olympic team, and be in Paris,” Clark said. “But that’s not up to me. I actually still need to earn my degree, too; I need to graduate college first, or else my mom might kill me.”
Despite her focus on academics, Clark hasn’t shied away from expressing her aspirations in sports. She told reporters that earning a gold medal with the Olympic team remains a major goal.
“I want to be on that team, I want to be an Olympic gold medalist one day,” Clark said. “It’d really just be a dream come true. But, everybody knows how competitive women’s basketball is in our country. So, it’ll be hard for really anybody to make that team.”
With her sights set on both academic and athletic achievements, Clark is poised to fulfill her dual ambitions this year, underscoring her status as a once-in-a-generation talent.
