The 27-year-old artist shared insights into her personal life, revealing that she tends to develop “a wandering eye” around the “year-and-a-half mark” of a relationship.
Speaking to The Star, the “Señorita” singer mentioned the added difficulty of finding love within the entertainment industry, which is filled with fascinating individuals.
Cabello emphasized her disinterest in casual flings, stating, “If I don’t like you, if I don’t get butterflies, it can’t just be a physical thing for me. I need to find you funny, and it really has to be about your personality. It’s not enough for me to just want to make out; there has to be more.”
The “Havana” singer, who has been in a relationship with Shawn Mendes from 2019 to 2021 and briefly reconnected last year, also explored the idea of online dating.
She mentioned the difficulty of meeting new people and pondered over trying dating apps, questioning, “’Do I do the dating app thing?’ I’m not sure, but then I wonder, ‘Am I being too selective?’” as she navigates her romantic life.
