Jake E. Lee, former guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne, was shot during a random incident in Las Vegas. He is currently in intensive care but is expected to make a full recovery.
Bollywood Fever: Jake E. Lee, former guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne, was critically injured after being shot multiple times during a morning walk in Las Vegas on October 15. The 66-year-old musician, known for his work on iconic albums like “Bark at the Moon” and “The Ultimate Sin”, is currently in intensive care but is expected to make a full recovery.
According to a representative, the guitarist was walking his dog when the shooting occurred around 2:40 AM in what police believe was a random act of gun violence. No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is ongoing. Lee’s family has requested privacy as he recovers.

The news of the attack shocked the music world, with Ozzy Osbourne himself expressing his disbelief. “It’s been 37 years since I’ve seen Jake, but hearing what happened to him today is truly shocking,” Osbourne said, condemning the attack as “another senseless act of gun violence.” He also sent his thoughts to Lee and his daughter, Jade.
Jake E. Lee, who stepped in as Osbourne’s lead guitarist after the tragic death of Randy Rhoads in 1982, became a key figure in Osbourne’s band, delivering hits like “Shot in the Dark” and “Killer of Giants”. Since then, he has also worked on numerous solo projects.
