Halle Bailey has shared the first official photos of her adorable son, Halo, on Wednesday. The “Little Mermaid” actress, 24, and her rapper boyfriend, DDG, 26, posted sweet family snapshots on social media and a vlog showcasing their little one.

In three stunning images with a picturesque ocean background, Halle beamed as she held her baby boy. Both mom and dad matched in sparkling white ensembles, with Halle wearing a sleeveless netted gown with sequin details. “Halo’s first time in Italy,” she captioned the post, adding a white-heart emoji and an ocean wave.

DDG commented on the resemblance, saying Halo looks like his mom, Halle.

The couple surprised fans at the beginning of the year by announcing they had welcomed Halo in 2023. In April, Halle opened up about her mental health, revealing she had been suffering from severe postpartum depression since Halo’s birth. In a candid Snapchat clip, she discussed her struggles, comparing the experience to “swimming in this ocean that’s, like, the biggest waves you’ve ever felt.”

Halle praised DDG for being “the most amazing daddy in the world” but admitted to ongoing struggles with postpartum depression and anxiety. She described Halo as a miracle, saying, “He’s perfect, he’s beautiful. When I look at him, I cry because of how special he is.”

Halle and DDG were first linked at the start of 2022, with DDG confirming their romance in March with a gushing Instagram tribute for her birthday. By August, Halle confirmed she was in love with DDG in an interview with Essence. Later that year, DDG expressed his openness to proposing to Halle on “The Breakfast Club.”
