Jake Paul is strengthening his political alliances, as GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is set to be a VIP guest when “The Problem Child” enters the ring this weekend, according to TMZ Sports.
Vivek’s spokesperson, Tricia McLaughlin, revealed that the presidential hopeful will be traveling to Orlando to show his support for Jake during the Friday night match against Andre August. The two have reportedly developed a strong friendship.
Jake has arranged for Vivek to have ringside seats, placing him alongside Jake’s friends and teammates as the bell rings for the first round. After the match, Vivek plans to have a brief face-to-face conversation with Jake and his family before heading back to Iowa for six scheduled campaign events on Saturday.
The bond between Ramaswamy and Paul became public knowledge after Jake enlisted the candidate for a joint TikTok dance in September, which gained viral attention. While initially appearing as a lighthearted gesture, Vivek later explained during a GOP debate why he considers TikTok essential for winning elections, emphasizing its influence on the next generation.
It’s worth noting that Ramaswamy is in need of a boost in his campaign, currently trailing behind Donald Trump, Nikki Haley, and Gov. Ron DeSantis in the polls. Additionally, he will be on DeSantis’s home turf during the upcoming boxing event.
