Jalen Green Attributes 42-Point Game to ‘Family’ Inspiration Amid News of Draya’s Pregnancy
Bollywood Fever, March 20: Jalen Green has been delivering outstanding performances on the basketball court, and the Houston Rockets player reveals his family is his driving force, especially after recently sharing the news that his girlfriend, Draya Michele, is pregnant.
During a game on Tuesday where the Rockets secured a 137-114 victory over the Washington Wizards, Green matched his career-best with 42 points. When questioned about the reason behind his impressive form, the 22-year-old shooting guard credited his family.
“My family,” he said. “My baby, so yeah.”
The Rockets are currently enjoying a six-game winning streak, with Green’s performance—averaging nearly 28 points in this period—coinciding with the announcement of Draya’s pregnancy.
Speculation about whether Green, who was selected second overall in the NBA draft and is 17 years younger than Michele, is the father seems to have been clarified by his recent statements.
Draya Michele, the founder of the Mint Swim fashion line, expressed her excitement about their upcoming addition, sharing on Instagram, “We are overjoyed to share our love for you, little girl.”
“I’m excited to speak words to the daughter I never thought I’d have. We are anxious about your arrival, but take your time — this world can be tough.”

Michele, who is already a mother to two sons, one of whom she shares with former Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick, is expecting her first child with Green.
