Paris, Bollywood Fever: Kanye West reportedly spent over $50,000 on a lavish dinner party in Paris for his friends during Paris Fashion Week. The “Stronger” rapper, visiting the French capital with his wife Bianca Censori, hosted the extravagant event at a private apartment in the Quartier Saint Germain des Pres.
Despite recent tensions with Censori, Kanye, 47, enjoyed an evening with around 30 guests, including friends, French collaborators, and contacts from the music and sports industries. The majority of the budget went to a selection of wines, with Kanye spending $40,000 on drinks alone. The wine list featured five bottles of Pinot Noir at $3,950 each, ten Bordeaux bottles at $1,000 each, $7,440 worth of Dom Perignon champagne, and six bottles of Cristal Brut.
An insider told The Sun, “Kanye loves to be a great host. He isn’t afraid to spend tons of money on food and drink. He loves Paris and French cuisine.” The evening’s menu included Caviar Petrossian, costing $320 per 30 grams, $3,100 worth of smoked salmon, and $1,340 of French-reared steak.
“Kanye is the kind of person that we love,” the source added. “He doesn’t count how much he spends, as long as everyone involved has a great time.”
Meanwhile, Kanye and Bianca were seen having a frosty exchange in the middle of Paris on Wednesday night. The couple appeared tense as they headed back to their hotel after attending the PROTOTYPES Menswear spring/summer 2025 show. They kept a distance while waiting for their car, with Kanye concealing his face and Bianca talking in front of him.
Bianca, 29, has also drawn attention in Paris for her revealing outfits, including one made only from tape. Concerns have been raised about her behavior and whether she is being controlled by Kanye. Bianca’s friends and family have expressed worries, with some even staging an intervention. Her father, Leo, was reportedly keen to confront Kanye about her X-rated clothing.
Young Parisians have voiced their concerns about Bianca’s outfits and Kanye’s recent actions. Sarra Sean, a 20-year-old linguist, said, “She’s free to do what she wants with her own body, but it’s a bit weird. Some of Kanye’s political statements have been very worrying lately.”
San Zaya, an 18-year-old student, added, “Kanye in particular is world famous, and a very influential artist, so anything he does is copied everywhere. People can dress how they like, but if they are being forced to behave in a certain way for the cameras, then that can be very dangerous.”
Despite claims that Bianca’s risqué outfits might see her arrested for public indecency, Paris lawyers have dismissed this as a “ridiculous idea,” with a source stating, “Paris is the world fashion capital – nobody risks prosecution for their fashion choices.”
