Travis Scott has finally delivered on his long-promised new album, titled “Utopia.” The album features some exciting collaborations, with Beyoncé making an appearance on the track “Delresto (Echoes),” and Drake joining in on “Meltdown.” “My Eyes” showcases the talents of both Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and Sampha, while Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo co-produces the track “Modern Jam.” “Telekinesis” features SZA and Future, and “Looove,” which also credits Pharrell, includes Kid Cudi.

The album is a star-studded affair, with the Weeknd and Swae Lee featured on “Circus Maximus,” in addition to their previous collaboration with Bad Bunny on the single “K-Pop.” Playboi Carti and Sheck Wes come together on the track “Fe!n,” while Young Thug and India.Arie lend their talents to “Skitzo.” Dave Chappelle also makes a memorable appearance on “Parasail,” and Westside Gunn can be heard on “Lost Forever.” The album boasts an impressive lineup of contributors, including James Blake, Metro Boomin, the Alchemist, Boi-1da, Kanye West, Vegyn, and many others.

The release of “Utopia” comes after a challenging week for Travis Scott. He had planned to perform new material from the album during a livestreamed concert at the Pyramids of Giza, but the event was canceled on July 26 due to “complex production issues.” This decision came after Scott had denied an earlier cancellation rumor. The concert is expected to be rescheduled, although specific dates are yet to be announced.

During Rolling Loud Miami on July 22, Travis Scott announced the arrival of “Utopia” on Friday and premiered a trailer for the film “Circus Maximus,” which he co-directed with Kahlil Joseph, Harmony Korine, Gaspar Noe, Nicolas Winding Refn, and Valdimar Jóhannsson. Notably, the official poster featured an A24 logo, but the production company later clarified that it was not involved in the project.
