Priscilla Presley Graces Granddaughters’ Graduation, Riley’s Absence Raises Eyebrows

Priscilla Presley attended the graduation ceremony of her twin granddaughters, Harper and Finley, accompanied by their father, Michael Lockwood. The proud grandmother was seen walking separately from the girls and their father after the middle school commencement. However, Riley Keough, the older sister of Harper and Finley, was noticeably absent from the significant event.

Photos captured the 14-year-old twins smiling and engaging in conversation with their father. Following their mother Lisa Marie Presley’s unfortunate passing in January, Michael Lockwood was granted full custody of the twins.

Riley Keough’s absence from her younger sisters’ graduation has raised curiosity, and Page Six has reached out to her representative for comment, although there has been no immediate response.

The graduation ceremony took place shortly after reports of a settlement between Priscilla Presley, 77, and Riley Keough regarding Lisa Marie’s trust. According to sources, the settlement resulted in Priscilla being granted “millions” from her late daughter’s estate. Details of the agreement were not disclosed in court, and both parties intend to file a motion to seal the agreement, as reported by TMZ.

Following the resolution, Priscilla provided a written statement to Page Six, expressing that her family has resolved the confusion surrounding their plea to the court and request for document interpretation after Lisa Marie’s untimely passing. Priscilla clarified that there was never a lawsuit filed against her beloved granddaughter. She expressed her gratitude for the privacy they needed to grieve Lisa Marie and spend quality time together as a family. Priscilla emphasized the love and appreciation they have for their supporters and conveyed that the Presley family is now stronger than ever.

As Priscilla Presley continues to support her grandchildren and navigate the complex aftermath of her daughter’s passing, the absence of Riley Keough at her sisters’ graduation remains a topic of interest, prompting speculation about the reasons behind her nonattendance.

After Lisa Marie passed away at age 54 after going into cardiac arrest, reports surfaced that there were tensions brewing within the family over her estate.

Keough and her brother, Benjamin, were listed as the beneficiaries of their mom’s trust, however, when he died by suicide in July 2020, the actress became the sole living heir of Lisa Marie.

After the “Lights Out” singer’s death, Priscilla contested her late daughter’s will, alleging that a “purported 2016 amendment” — which expelled her and business manager Barry Siegel as trustees — was not lawful.

A friend of Lisa Marie previously told that Priscilla’s efforts were a “money grab.”

However, the co-founder of Elvis Presley Enterprises claimed to us that she was only trying to keep their family “together.”

“From the first moment I held Lisa in my arms, I’ve protected, loved and guided her, as I have my son,” she said in February. “Our hearts are broken, and I am having to learn to live without my only daughter.”

Meanwhile, a source later told that Priscilla and her eldest granddaughter were not on speaking terms.

“Riley and Priscilla are not talking,” the insider exclaimed. “Their relationship is changing, that is true. … It’s just so sad. This is the time Riley would really need her grandmother.”
