Bollywood Fever: Selena Gomez was seen holding hands with her grandfather, David Cornett, as her grandparents joined her on Wednesday for her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in Los Angeles.

The 31-year-old actress and singer beamed while walking with her grandparents, David and Debbie, into the Hollywood studio for the talk show.

Selena wore a long black dress featuring sheer long sleeves and a top panel, paired with a bright white collar and cuffs. She completed her elegant look with pointy black heels and let her long brown hair fall in soft curls past her shoulders. Selena accessorized with dangling earrings and accentuated her natural beauty with full makeup, including red lipstick.

Holding hands with her grandfather David, who kept it casual in a grey and black sweater, blue jeans, and black shoes, Selena looked delighted. Her grandmother Debbie opted for a long-sleeved black top, skinny blue jeans, and black sandals.

Selena reunited on the ABC talk show with her Only Murders in the Building co-star Martin Short, who is guest hosting for Jimmy Kimmel this week. The Hulu mystery comedy-drama series also stars Steve Martin, who was Martin’s first guest this week while hosting.

Steve Martin gushed about working with Selena on the talk show, saying, “How much do we love Selena Gomez? Selena is so fantastic and so good in the show. She’s like the sober counterbalance to you,” he quipped to Martin Short.

Jane Lynch, who has a recurring role on Only Murders in the Building, was a guest on Tuesday’s episode hosted by Martin Short. The series recently wrapped filming in New York City for its upcoming fourth season, with new episodes set to premiere on August 27 on Hulu.

Selena recently got emotional during the premiere of her upcoming film, Emilia Perez, at the Cannes Film Festival. The Texas native wiped away tears after the Jacques Audiard-directed musical crime drama received an impressive nine-minute standing ovation. Selena was joined at the Cannes premiere by her co-stars Zoe Saldana and Edgar Ramirez, who embraced each other following the movie’s conclusion.

Gomez signed on to star in Emilia Perez in January 2023. The movie centers on a lawyer recruited by a Mexican drug lord to help him undergo a sex change operation to become a woman. Selena portrays the cartel leader’s unsuspecting wife in the film.

Since July 2023, Selena has been in a relationship with music producer Benny Blanco, 36.
