In a recent interview with Chris Wallace on Max’s Who’s Talking, the host brought up the shocking ending of the film, where Kylo Ren, played by Driver, kills his father Han Solo, portrayed by Harrison Ford. In response, the Ferrari star remarked, “Someone reminds me about that every day.”

Although Solo’s death generated mixed reactions among fans, it played a crucial role in defining Ren’s position in the Star Wars sequels as he grappled with the light and dark sides of the Force.

Reflecting on filming the scene with Ford, Driver shared that it wasn’t necessarily “tough” but “very emotional.” He praised Ford for being generous and contemplative, considering it a significant moment on set despite it being a death scene.

Driver had previously expressed feeling nauseous during the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2017, anticipating the audience’s reaction to the dramatic twist ending. Recalling the experience, he mentioned, “The people behind me, when the scroll started, were like ‘Oh my god. Oh my god. It’s happening.’ Immediately, I thought I was going to puke. I was holding my wife’s hand, and she’s like, ‘You’re really cold. Are you OK?’ Because I just knew what was coming – I kill Harrison – and I didn’t know how this audience of 2,000 people was going to respond to it, you know?”
