Adult Film Star Emily Willis Seeks Financial Assistance for Medical Expenses After Suspected Overdose
Bollywoodfever, March 4: The family of Emily Willis is seeking community support through a crowdfunding campaign to cover the adult film actress’s escalating medical expenses after she was hospitalized due to a suspected overdose.
They have initiated a GoFundMe campaign aiming to gather funds for her hospitalization and subsequent recuperation, with contributions reaching $13,305 out of a targeted $60,000 so far.
According to TMZ, Emily was taken to a healthcare facility in Thousand Oaks, CA, last month after authorities received a report of a potential overdose.
At 25 years old, Emily was staying at a renowned rehabilitation center in Malibu for addiction treatment when the emergency occurred, leading to her urgent transfer to the hospital and admission into the critical care unit.
Her father has expressed that Emily is currently engaged in “an incredibly tough and unforeseen battle,” anticipating a lengthy and challenging recovery process that will demand extensive care.
He mentioned that the funds raised would help cover Emily’s medical expenses and support travel and lodging costs for her family, enabling them to stay by her side in the hospital.
The family emphasizes the importance of their presence for Emily’s recovery and notes the necessity for them to take time off work to support her through this period.
