Caitlin Clark’s Frustration Mounts Amid Rough Start with Indiana Fever

Caitlin Clark has begun her WNBA career with the Indiana Fever on a challenging note, enduring a two-game losing streak. The defeats came against the Connecticut Sun and the New York Liberty.

The Fever have lost these games by a combined total of 57 points, averaging a margin of defeat of 28.5 points per game. Such outcomes are understandably frustrating.

In her first two games, Clark has averaged 14.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists—impressive stats for her debut week in professional women’s basketball. Nonetheless, Clark is visibly frustrated with the team’s performance.

A video from Thursday night’s blowout loss to the Liberty captured Clark’s frustration. She was notably agitated with a teammate for missing a pass during what appeared to be a set play.

“Caitlin coming off double screen, waiting for EW to pass. EW froze her out. Caitlin looked frustrated. EW airball a three instead. Same old.”

Fans were divided over Clark’s body language, with some supporting the former Iowa Hawkeye and others not.

They don't trust her. And they aren't as good as her. All you have to do is watch the first five minutes of the game and see her pass over and over to her teammates and they don't catch the ball.
