Laura Ingraham Reacts Strongly to Biden’s Christmas Tap Dancing Video: ‘Intentional Offense,’ She Claims
Laura Ingraham Reacts
On Friday, Laura Ingraham, a host on Fox News, asserted that the White House Christmas tap dancing video featuring First Lady Jill Biden was intentionally crafted to “offend” everyday Americans and cater to “flag burners and America haters.”
During the broadcast of Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle, Ingraham criticized the White House’s choice of hiring the New York-based tap dancing company Dorrance Dance for its Christmas Nutcracker performance. She highlighted a contentious portion of the company’s website addressing topics such as “white privilege, systemic racism, white fragility, and anti-racism.”
Ingraham protested:
The Bidens could have featured any Christmas entertainment — a wonderful children’s choir, a regional ballet troupe — but they chose radicals for a reason. The Bidens never want you to forget how rotten and racist America really is, how rigged the system is against the left’s fake set of victims. Now this just isn’t cynical, right? It’s hateful. They can’t help themselves, though. Anything connected to the American tradition has to be reimagined and then remade through a far-left lens. They believe that to win in 2024, they have to appeal to the anti-American element so prominent in places like Harvard and UPenn. After all, they know that if you put up a flag or let’s say a manger scene, you probably aren’t voting for Uncle Joe, so they’re reaching out to the flag burners and the America haters.
She concluded, “If you felt embarrassed and angry to see this type of woke nonsense at the White House during a time Christians have regarded as holy for two thousand years or so, well, that’s the point. They wanted to offend you, they did it on purpose, because they think their supporters like that sort of thing, and they do.”
In the previous month, Fox News host Jesse Watters expressed dissatisfaction with a distinct kind of Christmas nutcracker. Following Target’s introduction of a diverse collection of Christmas ornaments, featuring LGBT nutcrackers and Black wheelchair Santas, Watters commented that these items “might be the only things in Target that won’t get looted.”
